Bòrd na Gàidhlig’s COVID-19 Support Fund seeks to provide Delivery Partners and other groups that deliver Gaelic projects with support in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Funding is available to help organisations to continue their work online; to share resources and training; and to ensure the organisations are best-placed to recover from the current situation.

This scheme would specifically like to support projects that have originated because of COVID-19 that:

  • Develop the capacity and effectiveness of organisations to respond to the current COVID-19 pandemic and the recover from it
  • Develop new and strategic services/resources for the Gaelic community that can be delivered under movement restrictions / social distancing and/or that support Bòrd na Gàidhlig’s #cleachdiaigantaigh initiative
  • Provide training and support, especially in the early years sector, that support Gaelic work during the pandemic and in the recovery from it

Applications may be made for up to a maximum of £20,000 and up to 80% of project costs, unless discussed and permitted by Bòrd na Gàidhlig officers.

Applications must be submitted by 3pm on Thursday 21 January 2021.
